How do I schedule a session?
You can book through our Contact page or directly via the Jane App by clicking the Schedule Appointment button on the website.
What happens during the first session?
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and explore your goals.
How long is each session?
Sessions are 50 minutes.
What types of sessions do you offer?
I offer secure online sessions through Zoom, Jane for Healthcare, or phone.
How do I prepare for an online session?
Find a private space, use stable internet, wear headphones if helpful, and log in a few minutes early.
What are your fees?
Sessions are $140 for 50 minutes. Sliding scale rates ($100–$120) are available. Payment is by credit card or e-transfer.
Do you offer direct billing to insurance?
Yes, direct billing is available for many major providers. Contact me to confirm your plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged 50%.
Do you offer a consultation before starting therapy?
Yes, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us determine if we’re a good fit and to answer any initial questions.
What should I bring or prepare for the first session?
Just yourself. You’re welcome to reflect on what you hope to explore, but no preparation is required.
How often will we meet?
Frequency depends on your needs, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly options are available.
Is online therapy secure?
Yes. All platforms are encrypted and meet confidentiality standards. You’ll receive a private link before each session.

I use an integrative mix of ACT, CBT, DBT, Humanistic, Existential, and Psychodynamic approaches.
